I have seen many people calling karna a rapist and whenever I have asked them why they dislike him I have got the same answer : He disrobed draupadi and he called her a prostitute. Some have even gone as low as comparing this to acid attacks, rapes. Today here I am clearing this misconception that Karna did not order the disrobing.

This proofs showcase that an attempt to disrobe a woman was never made at all. It is a big interpolation mentioned still in the unabriged versions due to religious sentiment and the fame of the incident. They didn’t removed many interpolation points but let’s we check out Bori institutions had hearts, the Mahabharata would certainly be BORI’s! A giant research project undertaken by the BORI since its inception was The Critical Edition of Mahabharata. Edited by the likes of V. S. Sukhtankar, S. K. Belvalkar, S. K. De, Prof. Dr. R. N. Dandekar, the Critical Edition enjoys the status of one of the most prestigious and appreciated editorial work of the world. This edition was prepared with painstaking efforts of scholars for about five decades consulting 1,259 manuscripts But also bori institution didn’t removed many interpolation points due to religious sentiment and the fame of the incident. But Bori Scholars clearly mentioned and explained Vastraharan episode is an interpolation in the mahabharata today I will attaching three scholars annuals on it

According to Scholars the interpolation must have taken place sometime in the fifth century in the Gupta epoch is supported by the evidence from the epic itself , Dhavalikar, M.K Scholar clearly explained about DRAUPADI Garment and some points of interpolation ,let’s check other scholars annuals
